I’ve come to realize that music is more than just sound — it’s a language that lets us communicate in ways words can’t.

About Me
Dear fellow, I’m Lucia, thanks for visiting my page.
I am from Italy and some years ago I settled my life in Eindhoven (NL). I moved abroad for work, and I used to consider my job as part of my life mission. It took some time to define the type of person I would like to become and the type of life I want to live.
I believe that true well-being comes from deep, meaningful connections—with others and with ourselves. For me, one of the most powerful ways to explore these connections is through the transformative power of music in wellness.
My musical journey began as a teenager, when I started studying piano. However, as life moved on and I entered university, I took a long break from music.
That all changed in 2018 when I attended a Taiko performance. I was captivated by the raw, powerful energy of the Japanese drums, and that moment marked the beginning of my musical rebirth.
I travelled to Japan and I had the incredible opportunity to meet passionate Taiko players and practice with them. Music became the bridge that overcame any language barriers, uniting us and creating a shared, unforgettable experience.
During COVID-19 pandemic, music became my anchor. It brought me solace and energy, helping me reconnect with my sense of joy and creativity. Inspired by this experience, I began teaching body percussion and Japanese drumming to people with no prior music experience. It’s been a rewarding journey to witness firsthand how music can positively impact people’s well-being—helping them rediscover joy, connection, and a renewed sense of vitality.
Through this experience, I’ve come to realize that music is more than just sound—it’s a language that lets us communicate in ways words can’t.
I created “Battiti” with the aim to share the incredible benefits of music with you, especially for those who feel it’s “too late” to start learning an instrument. Whether you’re a complete beginner or returning to music after a long break, music has the power to enhance your life in ways you might not have imagined. It can boost your mental health, strengthen your connections with others, and provide a creative outlet for personal growth.
I invite you to explore how music can transform your life, just as it has mine—no matter your age or experience.
