Music workshops: Meet the artist
“Music Workshop: Meet the Artist” is a fun and welcoming project designed for music beginners who want to explore the world of music in an exciting and hands-on way. In these workshops, you’ll have the chance to meet and learn from talented artists, both local and international, who will share their musical journeys, skills, and experiences. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time or just starting to explore music, this workshop offers a relaxed environment where you can learn at your own pace. Through interactive sessions, you’ll discover new sounds, try out different musical styles, and gain confidence in your musical abilities. “Music Workshop: Meet the Artist” is all about encouraging creativity, building new skills, and having fun with music. Echoes of Sounds: Capturing the Soundscape of Our World
“Echoes of Sounds” is a participatory project that invites you to explore the hidden acoustics of the world around us. Our environment is filled with diverse soundscapes—whether it’s the soothing melodies of birds and streams, or the dynamic hum of human activity like aircraft, bells, playgrounds, or a call to prayer. These sounds shape our experience and tell the stories of our communities, cultures, and landscapes.
In this project, we ask you to capture an acoustic (and visual) moment in time that resonates with you. Reflect on the significance of this sound—what emotions, memories, or connections does it evoke? Then, share it with the world to inspire others and help us collectively appreciate the richness of the soundscapes that surround us.
Join us in documenting and celebrating the sounds of our world, and help create a global collection of the diverse acoustic moments that make up our shared environment.
